6 Branded giveaways for CBC (& more!)

Craft Brewers Conference is right around the corner! And, although, this blog is specially geared towards Craft Brewers Conference I think you’ll find that these cost effective giveaways are relevant to lots of different brands and industries. Making them pretty universal for a wide variety of different tradeshow, conferences, and events.

Craft Brewers Conference (or CBC) typically brings in hundreds of vendors and over 10,000 industry professionals all in one place. Attending this event can be a huge game changer because it allows exhibitors and buyers to develop profitable business relationships and helps industry professionals see the latest and best products and services. I haven’t been to this specific conference I’ve attended other tradeshows in the past. In my personal experience, you see A LOT of different items and/or vendors and at times they meld together. One way to ensure your product or company doesn’t fade into the background is by offering branded swag as giveaways. That way your potential customers have a little something to remember you by. Plus, if your branded giveaways end up being used, the way they were intended, that displays your company’s branding in the everyday world bringing even more awareness to your company.

In this blog post, I’ll be mentioning some cost-effective giveaways that are easy to carry/pack, will help pull potential customers into your booth, but will also remind them of you and your company after the fact. People LOVE free swag! Especially, if those items are useful and/or fun.

Stickers / Deccals

Stickers/Decals

In terms of the number of impressions, custom stickers are a great way to get a huge bang for your buck. They are a super cost-effective way to get your logo or branding out there in the world for a very minimal investment. If you have loyal customers, a cool sticker design, or rad logo your customers will likely slap that on their laptop, vehicle, or water bottle. Nice thing about that is now when they go work at a café, drive their car, or bring their water bottle with them while they are running errands a passerby will see your logo. There are a variety of materials we can use but our #1 seller is white vinyl. Vinyl stickers will hold up to some pretty harsh conditions. So you can confidently put your favorite (vinyl) sticker covered water bottle in the dishwasher and not have to worry about it washing off.

Another common material other places use is a BOPP material, which stands for Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene. We don’t typically recommend that material and always suggest vinyl for longevity. While BOPP stickers are water-resistant, they are not be as durable as vinyl stickers when exposed to prolonged UV rays and harsh outdoor conditions. They also may not adhere as well to certain surfaces compared to vinyl, especially irregular or textured surfaces (for example a powder coated water bottle, which is fairly common to see with drinkware.) If our standard white vinyl decal is too boring for you and you want to really stick out from the crowd… We also offer Glow in the Dark, Metallic or Reflective, materials as well.

Colorful Custom Bandanas

Custom bandanas are extremely versatile. They can be used as neckwear, dust masks, pet accessories, sweatbands, and the list goes on. Branded bandanas are a great accessory for festivals, concerts, or outdoor events. We offer a variety of types of customized bandanas but screen printed bandanas and sublimated bandanas are the most popular. One thing to keep in mind is if you have a lot of colors in your bandana design, fades or gradients, we’d recommend going the sublimated route instead, especially if budget is a concern.

With sublimated bandanas the amount of imprint colors don’t affect the pricing but they are a polyester material so they will feel a lot different than that old school cotton bandana you may be used to. If you’re pretty set on that cotton feel we can still imprint multiple colors… however, that will be reflected in the pricing. With the screen printing process the more colors printed the more that add onto the cost of the project.

Buttons / Enamel Pins

Dress up your brewery brand with flair! Enamel pins and buttons are the perfect canvas to showcase your unique identity at the Craft Brewers Conference. They could be worn on hats, jackets, backpacks, fanny packs and the list goes on. They are compact, eye-catching, and highly customizable. These trendy accessories are great conversation starters. From showcasing your logo to celebrating a new brew, enamel pins and buttons offer a playful yet stylish way to make your mark. There are a variety of shapes, sizes, and finishes to choose from. If you have a lot of fine or small details in your design doing a button may be a better direction to go because of the process itself.

Gotta catch em all! Seems like you can never have too many coozies. Plus, you can get super crazy with them if you’re looking for something a bit more unique, like the bottle sweater depicted to the left. Granted the bottle sweater may not keep your beverage as cold as the standard scuba foam or neoprene, which help insulates the aluminum can, it’s incredibly eye catching and will will definitely get people talking.

Looking to keep your bevy as cold as possible but want to stand out a bit more from other coozies? No problem, you can still go the neoprene route but I’d suggest going with a more interesting fabric or pattern like the below…
